FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your Most Common Coaching Queries:
How can I book a free 30-minute consultation?
Your complementary consultation can be booked here https://calendly.com/fireflycoachinguk/30min
How long will I need career coaching for?
The answer to this depends on your unique objectives.
I have designed my coaching packages to address specific career needs, however, you may prefer additional coaching sessions once you have achieved those.
I offer flexibility through single coaching sessions and multi-session packages.
Please contact me on 01453 705 103 for a free 30-minute consultation and we can discuss your requirements in-depth.
How long is each coaching session?
Single coaching sessions are one hour each. If you purchase a coaching package, session lengths will typically be between 1 hour and 90 minutes depending on the agreed objective for each meeting.
Where does the coaching take place?
All coaching is currently being delivered online through Zoom or Skype.
Will my coaching sessions be confidential?
Absolutely. All appointments are completely confidential and I follow strict professional safeguarding guidelines.
In my professional supervision (which is standard practice for all coaches), I may discuss non-identifiable personal information with my Supervisor- if you would like to know more about this, please get in touch and I will be happy to explain this process in more detail.
What are your professional standards and code of conduct?
I am a Licensed CCS Career Coach and adhere to the Associaton of Coaching’s code of conduct. I have regular coaching supervision to maintain my standard of service.
Is coaching suitable for me?
In the majority of cases, yes! Coaching empowers you to make informed decisions based on your values, interests and priorities – and more. There are some situations, however, where coaching might not be suitable, which is one of the reasons I offer a free 30-minute consultation before a coaching commitment is made.
Coaching requires you to have a high level of self-responsibility and therefore there are some circumstances in which it would not be appropriate for me to provide coaching services. I am unable to coach anyone experiencing psychosis or severe mental health issues. If you are unsure, please consult with your main healthcare professional to determine the most appropriate support for you. If you need urgent mental health support, please contact your healthcare professional. Links to UK NHS healthcare professionals can be found here.
What happens after I book?
You will receive a confirmation email containing important information including Pre-Coaching Questions for you to complete prior to our first meeting. Please add contact @ fireflycoaching.co.uk and katie @ fireflycoaching.co.uk to your safe sender list to ensure your email doesn’t go into your Junk/Spam email folder.
How do I need to prepare for our first meeting?
Set aside some quiet time to consider what you hope to gain from working with me. These include your aim for your first session and your reason for choosing coaching at this time. The Pre-Coaching Questions sent to you will help you do this. Don’t worry if you’re not clear on everything before we meet- it’s my job to help you gain clarity. My priority is to ensure that you always get the most out of our time together.
